Yes, this hotel claims to be located in Las Vegas, and that may be technically true, as I live on Planet Earth. However, I truly do not know why anyone would come here on vacation unless the room rates are half the price of those actually in Las Vegas. However, if you want a nice relaxing place to stay in Vegas and don't want to hop around the strip this is a great place to stay.įull disclosure: I was here on business, so perhaps My experience might have been different if I came on vacation. It's far enough from the strip that you'd need to take a cab or the shuttle over if you want to hit the strip. The hotel needs to get Starbucks to do a better job serving people quickly. There's a starbucks in the main lobby area but the lines were insane (30+ minute waits). My only complaint was the fact that there was no coffee machines in the rooms. It was easy to get food and drinks- the servers were all very attentive.
This might be a great place to come with kids. I only wish they had an adults only section. Overall it looks and feels like a great place and I had a nice stay while I was here. The hotel has a number of great restaurants, and the buffet is awesome and super cheap. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. I stayed here for business for a few days in May.
